Pi Network Launches Token Launchpad on Testnet, Empowering Developers and Pioneers in the Ecosystem
Pi Network has unveiled its Token Launchpad on the testnet on March 20th, aligning with Pi Day 2026. The platform allows developers to create and test tokens within the Pi ecosystem without financial risk, as it operates exclusively with test tokens. Pioneers (Pi users) gain early access to experimental projects, while developers are required to demonstrate functional applications before launching tokens.
The system integrates with Pi's decentralized exchange (DEX), utilizing a shared pool model where user-deposited Pi helps stabilize pricing and prevent misuse. Staking mechanisms reward early participants with preferential access to tokens or better rates. Currently accessible via the Pi Browser, the launchpad is designed to emphasize utility over speculation—a deliberate choice amid the ongoing infrastructure boom in the cryptocurrency space.
